SARNZ issues Certificates of Competence (CoC) for Scaffolding in accordance with the Health and Safety in Employment Regulations 1995. To find out how the qualifications relate to certificates of competence click here.
Applying for a New CoC or Renewing an Existing CoC
To apply for a new COC or to renew an existing one, download an application form by clicking here. Complete the application form including the attestation letter signed by your employer and email them with a passport-sized photo in jpg format to email@example.com.
Lost your card?
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and address and we will email you an invoice for $20. When we have received payment, we will post you a replacement card.

New Zealand Residents with Overseas Qualifications
New Zealand Residents must achieve the National Certificate in Scaffolding as a prerequisite to being issued a CoC.
Experienced scaffolders holding overseas qualifications will be able to complete a process which recognises the skills and knowledge they have already, and undertake additional training as required to achieve the National Certificate in Scaffolding.
