SARNZ Conference 2017 – SOLD OUT
Join us at our annual conference which is being held at the Rydges Latimer Square in Christchurch on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th July. The theme of this year’s conference is Business Survival. We have secured a range of experienced speakers who will provide insights into the pitfalls of trading in a boom and strategies to grow and add value to the business. Vadim Spice, WorkSafe New Zealand Sector Lead Construction, will be at the conference on both days so will be available for any conversations as a WorkSafe representative.
Each year our conference provides an informative range of speakers, opportunities for the sharing of knowledge, upskilling, networking and a chance for companies to showcase their latest products.

Scaffolding, Access & Rigging Jobs of the Year Competition
We are calling for entries for the annual scaffolding and rigging jobs of the year as well as a new category for rope access job of the year.
Current SARNZ members can enter any of the categories if they have a job that they think merits the award. This may be a job that solved a difficult access problem; it may be something that is only rarely asked for or it could be something that is simple and yet very tidy and fit for purpose.
The categories are:
- Rope Access,
- Scaffolding. There will be sub-categories for:
- Residential scaffolding
- Commercial/Events scaffolding
- Industrial/Civil scaffolding.
We will produce a brochure containing all entries which will be a showcase for SARNZ and members for the following year and beyond.
Entrants must provide:
- Job title
- Up to six high resolution photos (300 dpi) in jpg format
- A description of the job and why they think it deserves to win the award up to 200 words in Word format.
- Indicate which photo should appear in the conference brochure.
All entries will be displayed on a slide show in the exhibition hall throughout the conference.
The winners will be decided by voting by members at the conference, one vote per company.
Presentations will be made to the winners at the industry dinner on Friday 14th July.
Entries close on Friday 23rd June and no late entries will be accepted. Email entries to firstname.lastname@example.org
